Nesting

Hi there everyone,

this is my first post since we've moved in... I would appologize for the lengthy delay in blogging, but I know that you all understand the rigors of moving. Most of the boxes are unpacked, or at least stored where I can get to them later. We're settling into a bit more of a routine, though some things still need to get ironed out. The girls love their bedrooms, so do Dan and I. It' s so nice to have them settled and falling asleep so quickly. (no one to distract them!)

Now we're preparing for the big holiday... leaving Friday night, so it's more packing and sorting, trying to make sure that we have everything we need and that we're organized! I must say the anticipation is starting to build, I REALLY am looking forward to this trip. None of us except for Julie (Tim and Julie Leeson are coming with us) have ever been out east and we can't wait to do some exploring! We're going to do some water slides in Moncton, NB and we're going to check out Anne of Green Gables in PEI. Then it's out to Mahone Bay, NS and a week of camping and conferencing with the rest of the Vineyard family! I've got to get packing though, I'll let you know how it goes!

Blessings,

Simone

What's Up?

I feel like I've been going non-stop... probably because I have been. What with work and trying to get the new place ready for us to move-in, I've been having very long days! Hopefully things will settle down soon. We have most of the new place painted. We just have to do a second coat on the hallway, paint the master bedroom, the bathroom and the laundry room (just to get the cat smell out!). Then it's time to clean (all over again) and move in. We are officially moving in this weekend. (yeah!!!!) It's going to be so nice to get settled! I'm so looking forward to making a home for my little family, one that's all ours again!

Other than that... My work is getting challenging again, just because there don't seem to be enough hours to get everything done that needs to get done, and not enough hands on deck to get ahead. I'm giving it my best though, so we'll see what happens. Dan's work is good, he's accomplishing alot and is learning alot; which is really important to him, so I'm very happy for him. The girls are done school and are really looking forward to summer vacation. Our plans changed, so they will be joining us on our trip to Nova Scotia and they can't wait! I'm looking forward to it too, it will be nice to hang out by the ocean (I miss it since we've moved back from up north). Anyways, that's about it.

blessings,

Simone
